MyOatmeal! MyHappyTummy!

Last weekend, I received my Specialized Oatmeal and PB Lean from MyOatmeal.com.  This online company specializes in creating delicious, custom-blends of gourmet oatmeal and other nutritious products.  With all the miles I have been running in this cold weather, I was so happy to see that delivery waiting on my doorstep!

Truly, I am so glad that I gave MyOatmeal a try.  Like I explained in this post, you simply go online to create your Oatmeal or PB Lean blend while the price and nutrition facts update live as you adjust your order.

You can choose from Small, Medium and Large size bags.

A you may recall, I chose Oatmeal Cookie and Sugar Cookie Flavors.

Because, cookies.

In the past few days, I  have prepared bowls of the Quick-Cooking blend in the microwave with both water and with almond milk.

Each version turned out great!

I also tried cooking the 5 Grain Rolled Oats on my stovetop and really enjoyed them as well.

I like both flavors, but I think I prefer the Oatmeal Cookie because of the dark raisins and Greek yogurt powder.  The flavor was richer and I felt like I was eating a complete meal.

The last part of my order included a bag of PB Lean.

So far, I have tried the PB Lean mixed into Greek Yogurt and honey.  So good! It boosted the already high-protein yogurt by an additional 4 grams without all the added fat and calories found in traditional peanut butter.

The next time I bake cookies, I plan on subbing half the amount of flour needed with PB Lean.  I love Peanut Butter cookies and using PB Lean will be a welcome addition.

Speaking of baking,  I made a smallish normal-sized family-sized batch of brownies and added PB Lean powder half-way through baking.

Yes, I recognize the irony of adding this reduced-calorie product to both cookies and brownies.  :-)

This was a baking success!

My honest opinion of these products is that they are delicious, healthy and worth purchasing.  The ordering process is fun and I love that the ingredients are Non-GMO with vegan and gluten-free options.

I can’t wait to place my next order!

You can receive 15 percent off your order by using this code: Salt15

Give MyOatmeal a try! You will be glad you did.  :-)

  1. MMMMM I would love some oatmeal especially after seeing it in The Balanced Blondie’s facebook post featuring breakfast room service from this past weekend!! ().

Before I became bulimic, I was the oatmeal with raisins girl. Maybe I’ll get “brave” and experiment in ze kitchen next weekend. I’ve been tempted to get the vegan oatmeal from the whole food’s hot bar, but I don’t trust the hot bar. What if someone dropped a sausage in there and fished it out before my turn? 😉 hahaha cute post. mwah!

  2. Hahaha, try not to think about the possible rogue sausage!
Let me know how it goes if you try it. :-)

I love raisins in oatmeal, but I had been afraid of eating dried fruit for a long time (thinking it was a waste of calories for something that wouldn’t fill me up). Now I am eating raisins in my oatmeal and cranberries in my salads!

And dates! They are the world’s most perfect sweetener for baking, smoothies, etc. :-)

  3. I love the idea of different flavors of oatmeal, not partial to raisins but like other dried fruit. I will share this post with my audience on runopedia.com and link it back to your blog. Thanks.

    • Hi Dave,

Yes to dried fruit!! Except banana chips; I just can’t get on board with that. 😉
Thanks so much for reading and sharing! I will be sure to check out your blog!! :-)
