Going Gluten-Free Series: Part 2

Before I continue the “Going Gluten-Free Series”, I have both good news and bad news to report.

The good news is that the high today was 70 degrees.

The bad news is that I sustained an injury to my left quadricep muscle this week, and for the last two days, I have been unable to run.

Thus, the favorable weather went to waste was not enjoyed (by me) to the fullest extent.

The good news is that one of my New Year’s Resolutions was to Run Less and Cross-Train More.

The bad news is that I don’t want to Run Less and Cross-Train More.

The good news is that I have a phone interview tomorrow for a potential job.

The bad news is I am out of practice, as far as interviews go…it’s been over a year since my last one.

The good news is I am getting my teeth fixed  new teeth! this weekend.

The bad news is that I have 14 remaining teeth to be extracted.  AND one of them is causing me excruciating pain.

The good news is that my mom brought over homemade Gluten-Free Cornbread which is soft enough for me to enjoy despite mouth pain.

The bad news is that I don’t have the recipe for you yet.  (Upcoming!)

The good news is that, in the meantime, you can access my Gluten-Free recipes by clicking on the Recipes category on the right hand side of this page.  I will be adding recipes much more regularly, so keep checking!

Another bit of good news is that I am perfecting a Reduced Calorie, Gluten-Free Peanut Butter Cookie recipe!

Overall, it looks like the day netted more good news than bad, which is encouraging.

Question: Do you prefer hearing the good news or bad news first?

  1. Will be waiting patiently (or not) for the cornbread recipe. This Southern girl, looooves her cornbread.

Can’t wait to hear how the interview goes. You got this.
